Accessibility
Sparande is committed to making the SparGrid website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we work to, the measures we take, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-off project, and we test and improve the site as it evolves. We consider this website to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, with any exceptions noted under “Known limitations” below.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure, landmarks, and a “skip to content” link
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and icons
- Responsive, reflowable layouts that support zoom and small viewports
- Forms with clear labels, error messages, and status announcements
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are not aware of any significant barriers at present, and we prioritise fixes as we find them or as they are reported to us. If you rely on a specific assistive technology and hit a problem, please tell us so we can help and put it right.
Assessment approach
The site is assessed through a combination of automated accessibility tooling and manual checks, including keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader spot checks, carried out by our team.
Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from this site in a different format, please report it via the contact form or email support@sparande.co.uk. We aim to respond within one business day.
