Velocity Pulse help and documentation

How to set up Velocity Pulse on your Shopify store and use it day to day.

Getting started

  1. Install Velocity Pulse from the Shopify App Store and open it in Shopify admin.
  2. Choose the plan your catalogue size fits and approve it on Shopify; the 14-day free trial starts then.
  3. The first catalogue sync starts on its own. Products are scored once the sync completes, and again every night.
  4. Choose a recovery mode: Assisted (you approve every action) or Autonomous (opt-in, within your rules).
  5. Set your margin floor and discount limits in Settings, so no recommendation can go below them.

Reading a Pulse Score

A Pulse Score from 0 to 100 compares a product's recent daily sales with its own baseline. A lower score and a worse risk band mean its sales are slowing more against its own history. A product needs enough sales history to be scored.

Recommendations and approvals

Each idea is labelled by where it stands: an AI-discovered possibility cannot be launched; a quantitatively validated recommendation can be approved; an idea that did not pass is shown as tested and not launched, with the reason. After approval, the action is shown as live only once your store confirms it, and its outcome is measured against the product's pre-launch baseline.

Pausing or cancelling an action

Cancelling an action rolls it back in your store, restoring the previous prices and removing its discount.

Storefront badges and countdowns

Optional. Add the Velocity Pulse badge and countdown blocks in your theme editor (Online Store 2.0 themes) to show live recovery campaigns on your storefront.
