Getting started

1. Install InventoryIntel from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan: Growth or Alliance.
2. Wait for the first sync of your catalogue, stock and orders to finish. The app shows its progress.
3. Add protection rules for the products, collections or vendors you never want discounted.
4. Set your approval policy: who approves, and which rules may run automatically.
5. Turn on the storefront clearance badges in your theme editor under App embeds, if you want shoppers to see them.
6. Review your first recovery plan, read why each action was chosen, and approve the ones you want.

Opening the app

InventoryIntel opens inside your Shopify admin, under Apps. Open it from there rather than from a bookmark or a link: Shopify verifies your store, so there is no separate password. The app also has its own help centre, with guides for each screen.
